Before moving towards composing I played in many bands in genres from Rock and Reggae to Jazz. Here are a few of my current projects:

THE CARLO FRACCALVIERI TRIO

My latest jazz project with Italian alto saxophonist Carlo, and Welsh bass player Huw Williams.

Every Autumn from September to Christmas I act as house musician and arranger for the hit Radio Wales comedy series, written by
Myfanwy Alexander, and featuring the comic talents of Richard Elfyn, Rhian Morgan, Siriol Jenkins and Matthew Gravelle. Here are a few samplesof the cast in action:

SYMBIOSIS

This duo features original compositions by both myself and jazz guitarist James Chadwick. This is an opportunity for me to play freer
and more intimate music. We are currently quietly working on our album, "All in good time". No hurry.

MILES BEHIND
|
This began for me as an opportunity to practice my fledgling trumpet playing but has now become a real passion.
We are a six piece funk/fusion band, featuring original material and arrangements of more familiar tunes. Emily, our lead alto player, is possibly the fastest Sax in the west, and Ian, our keyboard wiz, also wrote the theme tune to Fireman Sam.

ACCORDION

I have recently taken up the Accordion and enjoyed inflicting myself on the fabulous Gypsy Jazz outfit, 5 GO SWING.
You can see us in action here.
I also occasionally perform with The Amigos and recently found myself on the set of the biopic "Mr Nice" playing some polkas.
